Visit our Championship Course!
Situated between creek tributaries of the Kaskaskia River, our championship course winds you through fabulous bridges, through trees and over streams. In October of 1992, Illinois governor Jim Edgar landed his helicopter on what is now the first green, to take part in ground breaking ceremonies for an endeavor that would transform the fields and creeks into one of Southern Illinois finest golf facilities. To delineate the course architect Don Horrell took advantage of the setting that lent itself to distinctively different styles. The front side is characterized by native prairie textures and lakes, promoting an open style of play. The back nine winds through woodlands, over creeks and around lakes, resulting in golf that places a premium on accuracy and shot making.
With five sets of tees on every hole, the course can set up very playable. However, breezes off Lake Carlyle can turn this gentle test into a certain fury. We are open 7 days a week and 12 months a year so give us a call and make your tee time.
